I was born on the coast of Washington, thus my love of the sea. I was raised in Lincoln, NE., a farm girl, thus my love of nature and horticulture. I'm a mother of four (4). I've been creative all my life. My first professional art class was in the 5th grade. I work in Horticulture - the love of flowers and color shows through in my designs. I love the sea and the ocean -- it just followed that I would love creating designs and making jewelry with these pallets. About the name - Twitterbird Creations". I could start this part by "Once upon a time". But I think its interesting to know how people develop the names they develop. I have 4 children, the youngest is John. John is a Marine Captain and very much "all Marine". As most young adults do now, he met his true love later in life than we did as young adults (me being the "baby boomer" generation. He brought Kerry (his wife now) home for Christmas one year and I loved her immediately. After the Holidays and everything was back to normal, I reflected over our Holiday time, and realized I took an immediate love to dear Kerry. She is so vibrant and bubbley. I thought, yes, she is my little "twitterbug". I had yet to name my business and thought "that's my name" "Twitterbug". Well the "bug" didn't quite work, so I changed it to "Twitterbird", and Twitterbird Creations was born. By the way, John and Kerry are expecting their first child. -- Brianna Lillian
